About Ciba
In 2004 the production site at Zwentendorf, Austria, became a onehundred percent subsidiary of the then Ciba Specialty Chemicals Holding AG, Basel, Switzerland. In 2007 the company was re-named Ciba.
Since 1972 the plant Zwentendorf, situated in the industrial area of Pischelsdorf has produced latex for the paper- and textile industry. Today the site belongs to the Business Line Paper of Ciba's Water & Paper Treatment segment. International players in the paper business are our most important customers for Ciba® Latexia® SB.
At Ciba in Austria we have about 50 employees, most of which work in our production plant in Zwentendorf. To be near our customers and understand their requirements, we operate with a decentralized sales organization, counting on the best possible support from our technical competence centers in Europe.
