The "Sociedade Brasileira de Química"- SBQ, founded in July 1977, is the leading chemical society in the country and is devoted to the development and consolidation of the Brazilian chemical community, to the dissemination of chemistry and of its important relations, applications and consequences to the development of the country and to the improvement of quality of life.
