About Schweizerische Chemische Gesellschaft
The SCS is the scientific society of Swiss chemists. With more than 2,500 members, it is furthermore the largest professonal body of chemists in Switzerland. It notably engages in: Information, discussion and education in all fields of pure and applied chemistry including economical, ecological and social perspectives. For this purpose it organizes and supports scientific meetings, workshops and other activities that serve the chemical community in Switzerland; Activities that promote the interests of chemists in Switzerland and in international professional organizations; Publications like Helvetica Chimica Acta and CHIMIA.
