The Hungarian Chemical Industry Association (MAVESZ) represents the interests of enterprises in the chemical sector of Hungary, and it also promotes coordination and harmonization of interests among its members. The membership of MAVESZ comprises leading companies in petrochemicals, plastic raw materials, fertilizers, carbon fibres and paint production, chemical trade and distribution. Sectoral groups operating within MAVESZ include the Hungarian Plastics Industry Association, the Plastic Pipe Manufacturers Association, the National Association of Hungarian Paint Manufacturers and the Association of Hungarian Agrochemicals Producers.
